So many Mothers forgotten on this Day.
So many Mothers cry in vain
On Days Like Mothers Day they feel the ache
Of being forgotten yet again
Mothers give their lives for their children
They treasure them each passing day
Then when the children grown, they have their lives
And Mothers only get in the way
Broken marriages, taking sides,
Multiple grandparents too
Some Mothers get rejected and others take their place
Its a story that is sadly true
Mostly they live their lives alone
Making friends and groups that are new
On Mothers Day, alone again, they wish they had
Someone to simply say, ‘Thinking of You’
I send a flower for you to say ‘Happy Day
I and others Mothers think of you”
And loving children everywhere are also being Kind,
And sending a warm message that is true
